This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

I like the concept of this map and keeping communities together, but I also think that keeping counties together as much as possible is important - for a variety of reasons. The split in Salt Lake County is well done, but I think that Utah County should also be kept together as much as possible. The communities north of Ogden have more in common with rural areas and those boundaries should follow county lines.

Putting Grouse Creek in a different district than Brigham City or Tremonton but in the same district as Wendover is very silly and pointless.

Fantastic map for preserving SLC as a singe voting block.
