This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

It goes without saying, but the layer cake is not perfect and is in fact bad.

East and West shouldn't be lumped together. There are different concerns and this map doesn't place communities of interest together.

This map does not preserve similar communities. The interests of SLC are far different than those of the far East and West of the state.
