This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.
Jeffrey Alan Rust
There is no objective and logical reason to split any county into more than two districts. Using County lines whenever possible is the most fair and logical way to divide the districts. Where Counties need to be split because of population, then only split them between two districts. Salt Lake County should not be split into four districts.
