I can't even read this map as these useless icons completely cover the key area of interest. In addition the whole idea of including rural with urban runs in blatant opposition to keeping communities of interest intact. You can have one, or the other, but not both, in one "community of interest."

This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

As a moderately progressive independent voter living in Bountiful, this map personally benefits me quite a bit from a partisan standpoint. I can vote with similarly minded people in SLC and Park City. But from non-partisan perspective, I don't think we should be dividing SLC in this way. There are odd lines here splitting SLC in ways that don't make sense. We should be bundling communities together that have similar transportation needs, jobs, socio-economic opportunities, etc. There are too many county splits and rural-urban mixing going on with this map in general.

Would have been better if it captured more of Holladay and Cottonwood Heights.

This map does not represent Salt Lake County well. The way it is split doesn’t seem appropriate or reflective of the communities. The communities in Salt Lake City and Davis County are distinct and have different characteristics.

Nice improvement over current districts. Makes sense to me to divide districts largely along urban/rural lines. The Wasatch Front split here looks ok.

good job
