This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

I think its more important to have an accurate representation of the views of the state than to have exactly even splits. That being said, the tail of D3 and the fragment over the lake of D2 seem really odd.

I believe this map still creates a division within Millcreek, which is a hotbed with the current maps. I think more needs to be done. I would rather have minor population deviations (as opposed to zero population deviations among the districts, than have municipalities divided. I cannot support this map.
