This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

Although I like the premise of this map, I believe Davis, Summit and Utah County residents would take issue with it. I would like to see more consideration of the areas experiencing major growth now (Summit, Utah and Wasatch Counties) as much, if not more, than zero population deviations.

There's no real transportation links between Tooele County and the rest of your D4, or between the part of Tooele county you cut off from the rest of the county and the adjacent part of Salt Lake County.
