This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

You can take US191 and get to anywhere in Eastern Utah which is why the Seven County Coalition of Governments (Uintah, Daggett, Duchesne, Grand, Emery San Juan and Carbon) all work together in Economic and Resource development now.

Not a great split of Salt Lake and Utah here, there's no way to travel between the Salt Lake portion of 2 and the rest of the district. Also no way to travel directly between Uinta and Grand, so I suggest moving Carbon and Emery counties into 3 and moving Bluffdale and part of Saratoga Springs into 2.
