This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

Good map, my only complaint with this configuration is how much of Orem gets split off from Provo. Due to population you have to separate some of the Provo area off from the city itself but I'd prefer if the split was moved to a more peripheral part of the metro area. My preferred map in 2021 was very similar to this one but I've moved to a somewhat different configuration since then for this reason.
