This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

This map assumes that a shared a freeway equates to shared community. The Salt Lake County valley is vastly different from Tooele County. West Valley and Salt Lake City would be better served with a representative that can focus on urban and suburban needs, especially when considering how major national and international events have a massive impact on these communities while having a minimal impact on the Western region of Utah. Tooele county should be paired with a district that is focused on rural communities, and additional urban cities should be incorporated into the region serving Northern Salt Lake County.

Only real complaint with this map is that Morgan should go with the Ogden area since a majority of Morgan residents commute to there for work, especially since you're splitting Davis county anyway.
