This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

This defeats the purpose. Why is Salt Lake County split in three ways? That is not fair at all. Combining a dense urban population with more suburban or less dense areas ignores the fact that these are two very different types of communities with unique needs and priorities. The way Midvale is split also doesn’t seem fair, as it further undermines equal representation and weakens the voice of the community.

Not a bad map as a whole, two problems:
1. Uintah and Grand have basically no transportation links with each other, if you're putting them together you should put Carbon and Emery in there too.
2. A majority of Morgan county residents commute into the Ogden area for work so they should go with them.
