This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

I strongly dislike the way this map splits Salt Lake County into two parts. This division undermines fairness and equal representation and does not reflect the true makeup of the community.

Tooele and Box Elder being in the same district is the sort of thing that only looks good on a featureless map. These counties are completely separated from each other, have no easy way of getting from one to the other, and both have other separate areas that they form communities of interest with.

Daggett County really should not be in District 2 like this. The only major road that goes through it is US 191 which is north-south.
