This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

The map claims to run along county lines but almost seems to do the opposite. We shouldn't be splitting Salt Lake County into three different districts. Urban and suburban citizens have very different jobs, transportation concerns, and socio-economic interests than rural citizens and they all deserve to be fairly represented. The Summit and Davis County splits are also very odd. It seems like it would cause a lot of unnecessary logistical issues in administrating elections and running counties and municipalities splitting them in this way.

Why would you split up Park City like this?
