This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

Yet another map that splits the Millcreek/Holladay community. No community should be split into more than two, let these people have a unified voice, this area has been split into four districts for ten years already. The original map submitted by the committee (Sen. Scott Sandall and Rep. Paul Ray) is even worse than this one and and keeps this community divided between four districts for 10 more years.
