This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

No community should be split into more than two congressional districts, especially the tight knit Millcreek/Holladay community. This community has been fractured into 3-4 congressional districts for the past 10 years and deserves to have a more united voice for the next ten years. No reason exists to continue to divide this community between multiple districts and disenfranchise its voters.
