This map fails to keep Salt Lake County, the most populous county in our state with 34% of the entire state population as a single community of interest. This map goes against allowing a single group to choose its own representative. The power of the citizenry is diluted with any division of this county.

The compactness of the urban, suburban, and rural communities is really great with this map. People with similar transportation needs, jobs, socio-economic interests, etc, should be bundled together. It makes sense that Utah's two most densely populated areas should be distinct whole districts.

I'm not sure how West Jordan would feel about this one, but I really like the compactness of the urban districts.
